ESBES is establishing a webinar series during the year. The concept foresees that each Section organizes one webinar per year, focusing on current topics, research priorities, and emerging developments. The contributions from this webinar series will subsequently be made available on the ESBES Scientific Platform, ensuring long-term access for the community.

New ESBES Leadership Elected at ECAB Conference in Lisbon
At the recent ECAB Conference in Lisbon, the European Society of Biochemical Engineering Sciences (ESBES) elected its new leadership team:
- President: Gerald Striedner, BOKU University, Vienna, Austria
- Scientific Vice President: Bruno Bühler, Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ), Leipzig, Germany
- Executive Vice President: Ana Cecília Afonso Roque, Universidade Nova de Lisboa – Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Portugal

European Society of Biochemical Engeneering Sciences is officially registered by the Belgian authorities as an International non-profit association.
