The contributions from this webinar series will subsequently be made available on the ESBES Scientific Platform, ensuring long-term access for the community.

At the recent ECAB Conference in Lisbon, the European Society of Biochemical Engineering Sciences (ESBES) elected its new leadership team:
- President: Gerald Striedner, BOKU University, Vienna, Austria
- Scientific Vice President: Bruno Bühler, Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ), Leipzig, Germany
- Executive Vice President: Ana Cecília Afonso Roque, Universidade Nova de Lisboa – Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Portugal

ESBES to become a legal entity
European Society of Biochemical Engeneering Sciences is officially registered by the Belgian authorities as an International non-profit association.
